What is a SAP consultant worth?
Short of getting on the phone to a recruitment agent, how do you ascertain what your skills and experience are worth in today’s fluctuating market?
There appear to be numerous “salary checker” websites out there, all of which involve some fairly laborious input by the user, for a figure that doesn’t seem to bear much resemblance at all to what is being paid (and it’s normally in US$!)
At sap1 we are building a career dashboard which will soon be able to show current rate information for SAP skills, depending on industry and location of the job to help you to ascertain your earning power.
We’re in the early stages of developing this, and at the moment are only showing the highest paid jobs on the site. We are in the process of collecting as much data as we can both from SAP consultants and job postings but hope to release the full functionality of this great tool soon.
