It's unusual to see such close competitors hosting huge conferences at the same time - most prefer to ensure they get the undivided attention of the relevant media - but not SAP and Oracle - the rivalry between them is legendary!

So for the next few days, anyone who follows twitter users that are visiting either conference, in person, or virtually is going to be overwhelmed by updates on #oow09 and #sapteched - so at least both are getting their messages out there, although their audience may be some what fatigued!
